I gave myself an hour this morning to sketch out a wintry tale – so inspired was I by the icy morning walk to my daughter’s pre-school.
Not wholly successful, but about 75% successful, here is a picture (click for biggie) of the story laid out on my floor. I roughed it out in sketches and words, and used a newish character called Little Bo Bear as my focus.
A good way to start the day, at the very least!

Here’s an attempt at making a blog advent calendar! Because of a random Twitter conversation, I’m making each entry about goats.
So here, two days late, is the first door. While goats watch o’er their pressies by night!
With book one pretty much finished, we spent this morning working on the dummy to Pigsticks & Harold 2. It seems to be working out well, but there’s much to do.
Here’s a little snapshot of the scribbly work in progress.
It’s been in the works for about 5 years, and inspired by a painting by Migy but I’m finally drawing a comic about Duck special agent. The first story is called APOCALYPSE COW, and I’m sure you can guess what that’s about…
It’s become my evening project, so it’ll take me a while. Still, It’s coming along OK!
This wall’s been filling up since my daughter’s birth, a few years ago. Today Sniff was added, on the proviso that she’d draw me a dinosaur at Nursery.
Next up Snork Maiden and the Groke!
