Meet Alice Anteater
Another new character I’ve been working on. I’m really enjoying mixing the outline colours of these recent drawings, particularly for clothes. I think it lets the characters stand out a bit more, and lightens the whole thing.
Any way, I hope you like Alice Anteater. I can see her long nose being quite a problem.

I’ve been working on many new creatures and characters of late. Here’s a little bird (possibly a pigeon) called Birdy, although that name may change…
Panda! Go Panda! Go Panda!
Panda! Go Panda! is massive with the little one in our house (and the big ones, actually). If you’ve not seen it, it’s one of the first things Miyazaki and Takahata of Studio Ghibli did together.
It’s bonkers and quite wonderful in equal measures, and has very nice bamboo.
Any way, because we like it, I painted the big Panda as a present for my niece. I also then had to paint one for my own daughter. And so, we have multiple Pandas. Here they are…
